The eradication of homelessness will be successful once we understand that a home is not a house. There are many people with a roof over their head that are still homeless.
We provide connections to communities that help strengthen our families creating strong homes.
EMPOWER HOMES WITH EDUCATION
Recent exploratory studies strongly support the link between poverty, mental health & homelessness. Mental illness & homelessness are intertwined in terms of cause & effect, but the evidence shows it starts in the home.
We empower households through training, coaching & support in home-business building & financial literacy.
Social isolation happens for a variety of reasons but generally, it is greatest when our ideas & opinions are not valued. Work provides value and connection. Unemployment and social isolation are connected, but self-employment can often have the same impact.
We provide access to motivated entrepreneurial communities to connect people to jobs & job opportunities.
The Living Water Project is a collaboration between local developing world communities, the Skyjuice Foundation (www.skyjuice.com.au), and The Solution Network Australia Foundation. Through the provision of water filtering technology & community development, Living Water is a self-funding project.
Through Micro-lending & Micro-business development, the Living Water project establishes enterprises that support access to SkyHydrants. The technology enables filtering around 10,000 litres of clean water every day. The local enterprises pay the wages to keep the water flowing.
Currently, Living Water Enterprises have been established in the Philippines, Ethiopia and Indonesia. Support for the project has been provided by Skyjuice, AusAid, The World Health Organisation, local medical providers and Dapa University, Phillippines.
One of the major solutions to the high levels of unemployment amongst those who are homeless or debilitated due to physical & mental disabilities is to start a business of their own.
These businesses can take many forms from Affiliate Marketing, eCommerce & Drop Shipping, Direct Selling, Service Industry, Independent Support Workers, Freelance Writing and so much more...

The humble beginnings of the Foundation were as a Not-for-Profit Trust established by Roger & Roslyn Fraser and their son, David.
The Trust ran education and therapeutic programs for young people who had been expelled, suspended or were not attending school.
April, 2005
The Foundation was formed by a Board of Directors with support from Nicol Robinson Halletts Lawyers and Crowe Horwath Australasia.
Solutions was given Charitable status as a Public Benevolent Fund and Deductible Gift Recipient by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and was named The Solution Network Australia Foundation.

Woolworths Ltd partnership.
Using all 22 stores on the Sunshine Coast, Woolworths donated 10 cents from the sale of each 600ml bottle of Cloud 9 water, and 20 cents from 1.25 litre bottles directly to The Solution Network Australia.
The Start-a-Fresh program was initiated to provide for our most vulnerable… our homeless kids.

TSNAF expo’s provided an exciting opportunity for the Community welfare sector to join together and set the standards for solidarity, resolve, focus and cooperation.
The inaugural expo was held in Buderim, Queensland, Australia.
The 1st expo was attended by 223 registered community members and 37 community groups.

The Living Water Project is providing vitally needed clean drinking water to impoverished communities in a remote island in the Philippines.
This work has grown into a community-driven project involving over a dozen villages and over 22,000 village people.
Local people have access to clean drinking water through a Skyhydrant water filtration unit, supplied by Skyjuice Foundation.
Around 13.2 million Filipinos are forced to drink contaminated water every day risking dysentery, parasites, liver and kidney damage, and premature death.
The Living Water project provides water that is completely free of Bacteria and all other organic contaminants after passing through the Skyhydrant water filter.

The Virtual Community Warehouse is an exciting, new concept within the welfare sector.
The VCW is a register of underutilised assets in the community that are made available through share-based technology. Assets are listed on a searchable database which connects a Borrower directly to a Lender. The only way to access membership is to contribute an asset to the VCW.
This is a powerful example of community co-operation, connectedness, interaction and support. In short, it gives us the opportunity to set the standard that we would like to see in the community.

So What Ya Gonna Do About It!
SWYGDAI! was launched at the 2010 Community Expo and Celebration at Goodlife Community Centre in Buderim.
SWYGDAI! provided the capability for young people across the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia to develop a community project idea and be mentored and supported to complete it.
Since 2010, 12 major youth projects have been conducted on the Sunshine Coast.
